There are a number of year-long PTO Board positions that need volunteers. These are year-long commitments that require a regular time commitment. There are a few roles that we are still looking to fill.

Each class needs a volunteer that will work directly with their teacher to help the classroom run efficiently and smoothly.
Some things you might do as a Homeroom Helper:
-Help organize classroom events/needs
-Coordinate classroom volunteers
-Serve as the point person for PTO questions/direct parents to PTO board representatives for questions they need answers to
-Create sign-up genius forms
No artistic experience needed! This program provides you with a curriculum to share a love of art with the kids. Work in the classroom delivering a pre-created art lesson about a specific artist and then complete an art project of your choosing with the class.
Community events and staff appreciation are consistently in need of volunteers preparing for and executing events and staff appreciation activities. Volunteers can choose how much time to commit.
Position Summary:
The PTO Fundraising Chair is responsible for organizing and overseeing all fundraising activities for the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and effective communication to ensure the success of fundraising initiatives that support school programs, events, and resources.

Position Summary:
This team leader will decide with the PTO Executive Board when to host uniform exchanges and oversee the exchanges. Duties include sorting donated uniforms by sizes, setting up tables, labeling tables, explaining the exchange to parents, and organizing uniforms that are donated at the exchange. Team leader could also solicit volunteers as needed.

This is a volunteer position with a variable time commitment, but likely around 32-48 hours per year. Attendance at monthly PTO meetings is encouraged.

Position Summary:
Dress up as Eddie the Eagle for a maximum of 20 minutes during the Super Citizen Awards at 5:30 p.m. prior to the monthly PTO Meetings. Eddie will help present the Super Citizen Awards and pose for pictures.
Time Commitment:
Attendance at 5:30 p.m. prior to monthly PTO meetings (3rd Thursday of the month) is required.

If you work or live in or near Scottsdale, the PTO needs someone to pick up pizzas that are donated for our monthly PTO meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Pizzas need to arrive by 6:00 p.m.
Time Commitment:
Pick up pizza in Scottsdale and deliver to Madison Heights prior to monthly PTO meetings (3rd Thursday of the month).

Position Summary:
The PTO Spanish Immersion Chair is responsible for supporting and promoting the Spanish Immersion program within the school. This role involves organizing cultural events, fostering community engagement, and acting as a liaison between the Spanish Immersion program and the PTO.

Position Summary:
This Art Masterpiece Chair will be in charge of securing volunteer guides for each classroom or grade level. They will be the liaison with the district Art Masterpiece coordinator and help to get the volunteers trained. They keep track of volunteers and classrooms in need of volunteers. They organize art masterpiece closet and ask district and/or PTO for additional supplies as needed. They help the volunteers if needed.
